Chimni returns to the Bazaar Bizarre for the third straight year in a row. Every year, more and more vendors join in and the selection gets more interesting. We're going to do our best to make holiday shopping fun for you all by lowering our prices by A LOT! The event is Saturday, December 16th from 11am to 7pm at the Shrine Auditorium in downtown L.A. The origins of Chimni are veiled in great mystery. Experts have pieced together evidence which suggests the company began as a roving band of nomad puppeteers who gathered from the four corners of the globe in order to study and perform the art of sock-based entertainment. Uncredited witnesses claim to have seen these performances in obscure suburban locations such as Walnut Creek, California, York, Pennsylvania and Hyde Park, Illinois.
Nowadays, Chimni is known as one of the growing voices in indie t-shirt design.
The most vexing question is just who are the artists behind the designs you see on this site. Sadly, no one knows the answer because all employees of Chimni work in complete anonymity - their true identities hidden behind the satin sheen of Mexican wrestling masks. This code of secrecy even includes the chairman who is only known as ‘Il Pumperino.’
